True Solutions is looking for a responsible custodian to clean, maintain, and protect our facilities. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, residence halls, common areas, and other university facilities. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas. Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed. Clean windows, mirrors, walls, doors, and other surfaces. Operate and maintain custodial equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and repair needs to supervisors. Assist with room setups, event preparations, and furniture movement for university functions. Follow established safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Maintain security of assigned areas by locking and unlocking facilities as directed. Support emergency cleanup activities related to spills, weather events, or other campus incidents. Comply with university policies, environmental regulations, and workplace safety standards. Skills Experience working in a higher education, healthcare, or large institutional environment. Knowledge of green cleaning practices and sustainable custodial methods. Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing. Ability to lift and move supplies, equipment, and furniture. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
