Job Description
Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson is seeking an EVS Attendant to join our team. This team member will be responsible for maintaining a pristine and inviting casino environment. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, and cleaning gaming equipment. The Attendant ensures guest satisfaction by providing a clean, safe, and comfortable experience for all visitors. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and cleaning of office and back-of-house areas. Clean, sanitize, and disinfect gaming machines, chairs, tables, doors, toilets, sinks, and other frequently touched surfaces. Follow company guidelines for cleaning biohazardous spills and adhere to proper cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail in all work areas. Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions within the casino. Clean exterior areas of the property as needed. Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and extractors. Participate in special cleaning projects and perform other duties as assigned. 6 months of general work experience preferred, or High School Diploma/GED. Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
