A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and is committed to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for tenants and guests. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and flexible, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This role requires someone who can manage their time efficiently while also stepping in to assist with additional projects as needed. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the property, including interior and exterior spaces Clean and sanitize common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and shared restrooms Vacuum and maintain flooring throughout the building Clean and maintain laundry rooms and shared facilities Clean office spaces and other tenant areas as needed Sweep and maintain sidewalks and exterior entryways Prepare and clean the wedding venue before and after events Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and replacing blinds Wash windows and assist with power washing projects Complete occasional apartment turnover cleanings Qualifications Previous commercial cleaning or custodial experience preferred Ability to work independently and stay on task without direct supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable and punctual Ability to handle a physically active role (standing, bending, lifting, etc.) Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks Join us in creating clean, safe, and inviting spaces!
