08/15/2026 The Dallastown Area School District has an immediate vacancy for a Full-Time, 12-Month 2nd Shift Head Custodian at Dallastown Area High School. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Be a part of something larger than yourself. Job Requirements:
This individual will oversee a clean, safe and secure environment for students and staff. This working supervisory position requires five years experience in custodial work, knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and the ability to operate/use various custodial equipment. The successful candidate will also have a strong custodial supervisory background including leadership skills, organizational skills and communications skills. Proven ability to function in a team environment within an organization that has multiple lines of authority and the ability to grasp and use new methods and technology as it applies to custodial services, including web based HVAC controls, will be needed. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance is required. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Performing general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds Maintaining equipment in functional condition Provides cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors and others as necessary Benefits Immediate/continued inclusion in Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS), 15+ paid holidays After a successful Probationary Period of 90 calendar days, you'll receive
