What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

- Get professional job placement assistance to find full-time or part-time employment.
- Work an average of 20 hours per week.
Eligibility:
To apply for a training assignment, you must be age 55 or older, unemployed, and living on a limited income.- Positions include but are not limited to: Administrative-Clerical.
