Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner Janitorial Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Handle chemical agents safely while using cleaning supplies and equipment, adhering strictly to safety protocols and handling procedures. Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors at optimal cleanliness and shine. Conduct sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure compliance with health standards. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting as needed. Follow safety guidelines during heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies or equipment to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any facility maintenance issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning and janitorial work. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and sanitation standards. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following chemical handling safety procedures. Familiarity with floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors. Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices for heavy items or equipment. Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors. Basic facilities maintenance skills such as minor repairs or painting are a plus.
