Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial/Maintenance team member to ensure our facility remains spotless, safe, and well-maintained. This role involves performing cleaning duties, handling maintenance tasks, and supporting the overall sanitation and upkeep of our early learning center. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a healthy environment where children can thrive. Retirees welcome. Duties Perform cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and perform minor repairs. Maintain cleanliness standards by following established sanitation procedures and safety guidelines at all times. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
