What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

We're looking for a passionate, natural leader to train, coach, and mentor our cleaning teams — someone who takes pride in high standards and loves helping others grow into their best work. Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm — No nights, no weekends. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay $18-$20, depending on experience — plus performance bonuses and incentives Paid training Paid vacation and holidays Health Insurance premium reimbursement Mileage reimbursement / use of company car 401(k) retirement plan A real career path — Trainers often advance into Supervisor roles What You'll Do Train and onboard new hires in proper cleaning techniques, ensuring high-quality standards. Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to build confidence and skill in our team members. Visit clients' homes to inspect the quality of cleaning performed by our teams, ensuring every job meets Merry Maids' standards of excellence. Uphold Merry Maids' commitment to exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Monitor and evaluate team performance, offering constructive feedback and guidance. Assist in refining training materials and processes for continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleaning excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience in training, coaching, or mentoring roles (preferably in a cleaning or service-oriented field). A positive attitude and a desire to inspire others. Reliable transportation when a fleet car isn't available. Requirements Fluent in both Spanish and English. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a drug test, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and criminal background check. Why Merry Maids?
