Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian Maintenance professional to join our team on the first shift. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and general housekeeping of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces (breakroom and kitchen) using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct detailed floor care activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Execute janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces to promote hygiene standards. Assist with light maintenance tasks supporting general facilities upkeep. Support industrial cleaning projects when needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during high-volume or specialized cleaning tasks. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, ensuring all tools are properly stored and in working order. Inventory and order supplies as needed to perform housekeeping duties. Follow safety procedures diligently and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment. Pick up and deliver parts for shipping, second operations, and maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, restroom sanitation, and general surface cleaning. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or light painting is a plus. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies ensures efficient task completion. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently while following established safety guidelines.
