Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and sanitation tools. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in accordance with safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of floors through buffing, floor care, and industrial cleaning techniques to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe. Operate various cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to maximize cleaning effectiveness. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, flooring, or other infrastructure components. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests and assisting visitors or staff as needed. Requirements Proven custodial or janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning standards. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and other janitorial tools. Experience handling chemical agents safely in accordance with safety protocol adherence. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting practices. Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation, cleanliness, and safety procedures. Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude. Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
