Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure environment Conduct sanitation tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper care techniques to ensure a polished appearance Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facilities upkeep Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks Follow safety protocols consistently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and sanitation procedures Experience handling chemical agents safely and understanding chemical safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper safety practices Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools Basic maintenance skills including minor repairs or residential painting are a plus Join us in creating a pristine environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
