Overview Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Shop Helper to assist with maintenance and cleanliness of our shop. The ideal candidate will be comfortable getting dirty and performing manual tasks related to the upkeep of trash trucks and carts, as well as maintaining a tidy work environment. This position offers flexible hours a few days a week from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities:

Grease trash trucks to ensure proper operation Wash trash trucks thoroughly to maintain cleanliness Wash trash carts regularly to keep them in good condition Keep the shop clean and organized, including sweeping, trash removal, and general tidying Assist with other light maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Comfortable getting dirty and performing manual labor Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in mechanical diagnostics Good communication skills for teamwork and customer service interactions when needed Basic ability to operate cleaning equipment is a plus Valid driver's license; Clean driving record to be insured with company Available a few days per week between 8 AM and 5

PM Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
