Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to achieve optimal cleanliness and floor care results. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures, storage protocols, and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination. Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, equipment, or supplies to support facility maintenance. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, waste removal, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or light repairs to support overall building upkeep. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring a positive experience during service interactions. Requirements As a Commercial Janitorial Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary commercial facility by performing duties that include: Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Vacuum carpeted areas and area rugs Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop hard surface floors Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and dispensers Sanitize high-touch surfaces throughout the facility Dust desks, furniture, filing cabinets, windowsills, blinds, and other surfaces Spot clean walls, doors, cabinets, and glass Clean entrance glass and interior glass as needed Clean and sanitize break rooms, including countertops, sinks, tables, microwaves, refrigerators, and vending areas Sweep warehouse dock areas and remove debris around the fence line as assigned Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management when supplies need replenishing Ensure every assigned area meets Germaphobes LLC's quality standards before leaving each shift
