Overview:

BIR Travel Plaza is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Maintenance/ Cashier professional to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and team members. This role is essential in keeping restrooms, showers, dining areas, fuel islands, and other public spaces in top condition.

Pay:

$12-14/hr.

Availability:

Mid-shift (2 p.m. - 10 p.m.)

Part-time:

Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, and common areas regularly throughout shifts Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wash floors as needed Empty trash bins and replace liners in all public and employee areas Restock restroom and shower supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.) Maintain the cleanliness of fuel islands, parking lots, sidewalks, and entrances Perform basic maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs or making minor repairs Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or supply shortages promptly Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean and safe work environment Assist with seasonal cleaning or special projects as directed by management Some cashiering

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods Willingness to work evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays as needed Previous cashier experience
