A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
BHS is hiring a Part-Time Day Cleaner for an upscale vacation sales office in downtown Nashville. This is a high-visibility, white-glove environment where you will work around employees, customers, and guests throughout the day. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a property looking exceptional and enjoys interacting professionally with people. What You'll Do
- Maintain clean, polished restrooms throughout the day
- Clean and maintain lobby, sales, office, and common areas
- Keep floors clean and presentation-ready
- Clean glass, doors, counters, and other high-touch surfaces
- Empty trash and maintain waste areas
- Monitor the property throughout your shift and address cleaning needs as they arise
- Keep supplies stocked and organized
- Respond quickly to spills or other immediate needs
- Help ensure the office is consistently guest-ready and presentation-ready We're Looking for Someone Who
- Is dependable and punctual
- Has strong attention to detail
- Takes initiative and notices things without always needing to be asked
- Is friendly, professional, and comfortable working around customers and guests
- Understands the importance of appearance and presentation in an upscale environment
- Can communicate professionally with the BHS management team and onsite customer
- Has reliable transportation to downtown Nashville
- Can work Monday , Wednesday and Friday ( 8:00 AM- 1:00 PM)
Pay:
$15-$16/hour based on experience. This is not an after-hours cleaning position. You'll be part of the daily environment and play an important role in creating a great first impression for guests.
