Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces. Duties Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, including the use of specialized equipment. Maintain floor care through buffing, waxing, and polishing as needed. Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report needs for replenishment. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others. Skills Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks such as residential painting or minor repairs. Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently. Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and facility occupants.
