Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, following all chemical handling safety procedures Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness and floor care Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for prompt resolution Follow all safety protocols during custodial activities to ensure personal safety and that of others in the workplace Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred Familiarity with cleaning techniques for various surfaces including floors, windows, and fixtures Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively Knowledge of custodial equipment operation such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners Background in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is advantageous Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices Join us in creating a clean, safe environment that supports productivity and well-being!
