Sterling Personnel is looking for an experienced Groundskeeper/Porter. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic and experience in groundskeeping and some maintenance experience. This role requires someone with a proactive mindset who is committed to going the extra mile to step in for their team, drive customer satisfaction, and a healthy team dynamic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Facility wide evaluation (am & pm)

The Groundskeeper/Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, Clubhouse/leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.

Maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas

•Responsible for safe and efficient use of heavy and light equipment, machinery and hand tools including sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, pressure washers, etc.

Cleaning of (Bathhouses/Pool Shower block/Laundry building)

Ability to assist with maintenance inventory.

•Must have knowledge of all general lawncare equipment.

Warm, friendly and service-oriented philosophy

Organized and detail-oriented

Previous grounds or custodial maintenance experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be willing to work evenings or weekends (on call) in case of an emergency
