- Dallas-Fort Worth HOODZ of Central Texas is looking for an experienced Lead Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to join our Dallas-Fort Worth team.
You will:
Perform hands-on commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning Lead and develop the technician working with you Set the pace and expectations for the job Ensure the work is completed thoroughly and according to HOODZ standards Inspect the finished work and correct deficiencies before leaving Communicate professionally with customers and management Make decisions and solve problems in the field Maintain safe work practices and proper care of company equipment and vehicles Complete required job documentation and photos This is not a supervisory position where you stand back and watch someone else do the work. You will be expected to work alongside your team while leading, teaching, and taking responsibility for the final result. Requirements Previous commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning experience required Valid, non-expired driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history DPS driving record will be requested upon hire Ability to pass required pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check, consistent with applicable law Reliable attendance and availability for overnight work Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical work for extended periods Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, elevated surfaces, confined/tight-access areas, and in hot, wet, greasy environments Why HOODZ We are building a team of people who want to master their trade, develop their leadership skills, and build a career.
