This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, and other powersports units and wants to begin building a career in the industry. Previous dealership experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train someone who brings a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, and can be counted on to support the team. The Porter/Detailer plays an important role in keeping units ready for customers, assisting technicians, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized dealership. This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy and working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Safely move motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, and other powersports units throughout the dealership Move units into and out of service bays for technicians Position inventory in the showroom, lot, service department, and storage areas Wash, clean, and detail new, used, and serviced units Prepare units for customer pickup, delivery, photography, or showroom display Inspect units during the detailing process and report any visible damage or concerns Keep the shop, lot, wash area, and surrounding workspaces clean and organized Remove trash and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment Assist with maintaining a professional and customer-ready dealership appearance Handle customer and dealership property carefully and responsibly Follow all unit-handling, equipment, and dealership safety procedures Assist technicians and other departments with unit movement and general support as needed Perform additional dealership-support duties as assigned What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work thoroughly Attention to detail and pride in producing clean, presentation-ready units Ability to work independently while contributing to a team Positive, professional attitude Willingness to learn about powersports products and dealership operations Ability to safely work around motorcycles and other powersports equipment Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced dealership Previous experience with detailing, vehicle care, motorcycles, powersports units, automotive dealerships, service shops, or outdoor equipment is preferred but not required. Physical and Work Requirements This is a physically active position performed throughout the dealership, shop, wash area, and outdoor lot. The Porter/Detailer must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods Frequently bend, reach, kneel, squat, push, and pull Safely move and position powersports units Lift and carry detailing supplies, equipment, and other work-related materials Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions Use cleaning products, hoses, pressure washers, and detailing equipment safely Perform repetitive cleaning and detailing tasks while maintaining quality Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
