What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

$14.21 - $17.05 per hour (depending on experience)

7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of entry-level skilled duties related to cleaning and custodial maintenance of Lehi City buildings.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to operate light and heavy equipment of various kinds related to the upkeep and cleaning of buildings. Ability to take direction. Use cleaning supplies/chemicals effectively. Develop good working relationships with supervisors, other employees, and the public. MUST pass the BCI background check. Part of selected candidate's duties will include cleaning the Women's locker room and restroom. Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
