Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Day Porter Janitor to maintain cleanliness and order within our facility during daytime hours. This full-time / Part time position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and experience in custodial services. The successful candidate will ensure the environment remains safe, hygienic, and welcoming for employees, visitors, and clients. Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience is highly valued, especially in commercial or industrial settings. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently. Work days : Tuesday - Friday 12pm- 530 pm

PAY:

weekly 14.50 $ per hr Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a professional appearance Handle trash removal and recycling procedures to ensure cleanliness throughout the facility Maintain supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low Perform light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and touch-up painting as needed Ensure all cleaning protocols comply with safety standards and company policies Assist with special projects related to facilities maintenance or event setup as required Monitor the premises for safety hazards and report any issues promptly Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial environments Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and carpet cleaning Experience with general facilities maintenance or custodial duties is a plus Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies used in commercial cleaning settings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
