Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle various chemical agents safely for cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks following all chemical handling safety procedures. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, and equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, window washing, and surface disinfecting. Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed. Support general facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the proper use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers. Ability to handle chemical agents safely following safety protocol adherence.
