What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Job Summary Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces Empty trash and replace liners Restock supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces Follow safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning chemicals Report maintenance or repair needs
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning/janitorial experience preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs
- Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
