This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, leading games, and collaborating with a supportive school staff. M-F 10:15am-1:15pm. Position Summary The Recess Paraprofessional supports a safe, inclusive, and engaging outdoor recess environment for students. This role supervises students during recess periods, organizes age-appropriate games and activities, and collaborates with other paraprofessionals and school staff to promote positive behavior, student safety, and social development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise students during outdoor recess to ensure a safe and positive environment Organize, lead, and encourage age-appropriate games and physical activities that promote inclusion, cooperation, and active play Monitor student behavior and intervene appropriately to prevent conflicts or unsafe situations Enforce school rules and playground expectations consistently and fairly Respond promptly to minor injuries or incidents and report concerns according to school procedures Support students in developing positive social skills, problem-solving, and respectful interactions Collaborate with other paraprofessionals and school staff to coordinate activities and supervision coverage Assist with setup and cleanup of recess equipment as needed Communicate relevant student or safety concerns to supervising staff or administration
Qualifications Qualifications:
