A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Position Summary:
Our Facilities Cleaners support facility operations by performing a wide range of manual tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This includes distributing supplies, assisting with routine maintenance, and completing general cleaning and painting projects throughout the facility. The role requires safe use of tools, ladders, and floor cleaning equipment, and supports both Facilities and Engineering teams as needed. \nTasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
Distribution and racking of supplies and parts to various departments General cleaning duties to include sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment as needed Painting fixtures, floor markings, walls, and equipment Seasonal cleaning indoor and outdoors at facilities Complete facilities related projects as assigned by Facilities and/or Engineering Safely utilize ladders and similar equipment Regularly operate floor sweeper and clean throughout the facility Assist with routine maintenance tasks Additional duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Requirements:
High school diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training Ability to use and care for common hand tools Demonstrate strong basic math and measuring skills Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, direction, and correspondence, both oral and written Cooperatively works and interacts with various departments Regularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periods Regularly moves about the facility Personal protective equipment is required Continuous participation in company safety training Physical Demands/Work Environment Work environment is comparable to outdoor temperatures Regularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periods Regularly moves about the facility Regularly lifts and moves materials up to 50 pounds Occasionally required to move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding material. Assistance provided as needed. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate-control. In-person attendance is an essential function of the job Shift Schedule and Information Must be available to work one of the following times:- 1st Shift
