Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the Rec Center facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

• Evenings Mon
• Friday
• 8:30 PM-10:30 PM (5 days per week)

Responsibilities:

• Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning fixtures, and sanitizing surfaces
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Perform floor care duties such as mopping, power washing, and buffing floors
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Skills:

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work
• Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and equipment
• Ability to operate floor care machines such as buffers/floor scrubbers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
