Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Concession Stand Worker, where you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, delivering exceptional food service experiences to guests. This energetic role involves preparing and serving a variety of delicious snacks and beverages, managing sales transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return. Whether you're a seasoned food industry professional or new to quick service environments, this position offers a fun, fast-paced atmosphere with opportunities to develop your culinary and customer service skills. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of concession foods and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate sales processing and cash handling Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling items to enhance sales and improve guest experience Maintain cleanliness of the concession area, including food prep stations, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Process cash transactions accurately while handling register operations and retail sales transactions Restock supplies regularly, including food items, utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Assist with bussing tables and sanitation tasks to uphold a safe and sanitary environment for staff and guests Qualifications Previous food service experience or quick service & fast food restaurant background preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a café or grocery store environment is a plus Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced setting Must have safe service food handlers card or obtain it within the first month of hiring Must be able to use cleaners such as dish soap dish liquid/latex gloves Not allergic to any food we serve Must be 16 years of age or older Must be able to work Thursday-Sunday Basic knowledge of math Reliable consistent transportation Punctual, responsible, and a self-starter 1-2 years customer service preferred Join us in creating memorable moments for our guests through exceptional service!
