The ideal candidate will assist with pizza and café food preparation, order taking, customer service, beverage service, cleaning, and general restaurant duties while maintaining high standards of quality and hospitality. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Take dine-in, takeaway, and pickup orders accurately. Operate the POS system and process customer payments when assigned. Assist with preparing pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients. Assemble pizzas and menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with preparing coffee, beverages, and other café offerings as trained. Operate ovens and café equipment safely after appropriate training. Monitor cooking and preparation times to help ensure consistent food quality. Package completed orders accurately and ensure all items are included. Answer basic questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, counter, café, and dining areas. Restock ingredients, cups, packaging, utensils, condiments, and other supplies. Communicate customer requests and special instructions clearly to kitchen staff. Assist with clearing and resetting tables and maintaining guest areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other restaurant duties as needed. Qualifications Previous café, pizzeria, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment. Good attention to detail, cleanliness, and order accuracy. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures. Comfortable learning POS systems, kitchen equipment, and café service procedures. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist in multiple service areas. Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn. Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods during shifts. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
