Job Description

Working in Food and Beverage at our Disneyland Resort Hotels, you will have the opportunity to make lasting impressions in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment! Hotel Food and Beverage Cast Members bring the Magic of Disney Dining to our Resort Hotels. Hotel F&B Waithelp Cast Members provide exceptional service to Guests, take orders and deliver food and drinks to Guests, share menu options and make recommendations, deliver Guest checks and collect and process payment for meals, and answer any guest questions.
Responsibilities :
Provide over the top Guest Service to all Guests Take Guests' orders and enter into point-of-sale system Follow up with Guests throughout their meal, answering questions, and providing excellent Guest service Share knowledge of menu items, wines, and spirits with Guests, making recommendations for pairings Deliver orders to Guests in a timely manner at counters, tables, booths, and poolside. Resolve any concerns independently and provide service recovery when needed Possess a strong knowledge of food presentation, ensuring each meal meets quality standards Interact with Guests, providing exemplary service, while having a genuine sense of interest
Basic Qualifications :
You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role 2+ years serving experience at a high-volume, high-end restaurant Initiative to own and resolve Guest situations Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment Sense of urgency and desire to work efficiently without sacrificing quality Demonstrated excellent Guest Service and service recovery abilities Knowledge of food presentation and quality standards Willing to take initiative to actively greet and welcome Guests
Extensive knowledge of wine and spirits
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years serving experience in a high-end restaurant environment 1+ years in a 4/5 Star Hotel or Resort Knowledge of Forbes standards
Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent)
Additional Information :
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Scheduling will require availability to work weekends, holidays, and have a flexible schedule when business requires.
