Job Duties:
Greet and assist all customers in a friendly manner. Maintain assigned work area clean at all times (sweep, mop, clear of dirt, etc.) Maintain a workstation that is organized and stocked. Ensure all food items are properly covered and stored at required temperatures (cold-cold; hot-hot) Prepare food as needed. Assist Cook in preparing food. Follow management directions and promote teamwork. Assist and participate with Company marketing promotional events and programs as needed And all other assigned job duties.
Job Requirements:
Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies. Wear clean complete uniform at all times: black pants or denim jeans, white dress shirt with collar or Vallarta approved shirt, black non-slip shoes, dark socks, hair net/Vallarta hat, and clean apron. Wear safety glove when using knives.
Essential Job Duties:
Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly) Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks) Place product onto bins and position for sale Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales by either cutting or cleaning product Constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean Reaching above shoulder level (cookware placement on shelving/racks in kitchen area) Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas Must clean and maintain the kitchen area including the floors, all surfaces, all kitchen equipment, counter tops, cutting boards, grills, cooking equipment, tables, bins, etc. Must wash all kitchen dishware, pots and pans, and utensils Climb ladders to retrieve product on top shelf/cooler.
