This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment within the food service and hospitality industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our organization. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting guests with their needs. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation in accordance with health regulations. Support kitchen operations as needed, including food prep and stocking supplies. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, café, retail, or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing tables, or kitchen work is desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed.
