Job Description
Pay:
Starting at $18.60/hour, up to $22/hour based on performance + tips Full-Time & Part-Time Available Naya Dessert Cafe - San Mateo is looking for motivated Dessert Makers to join our opening team! We are expecting to open in late September or early October. Our hours will be 12:00 PM-12:00 AM. We are hiring for both lunch and dinner shifts, but applicants should be available for some lunch shifts and more dinner shifts, as our busiest hours are in the evening. Dinner availability from approximately 5:00 PM until closing (12:00 AM) is strongly preferred. Kitchen experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. Basic English is required to communicate with team members, follow instructions, and read kitchen notes and recipes. What you'll do:- Prepare fruits, sauces, and ingredients
- Make toast, crepes, bingsu, and other desserts
- Follow recipes, kitchen notes, and presentation standards
- Keep your station clean and organized
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner shifts
