Every day we strive to provide our guests with an exceptional experience through food and coffee. As part of our kitchen staff you will work on our small and evolving food program. From making sure our empanadas and pan de yuca are baked to perfection; to ensuring our pickled onions are just the right sweetness and tang. The food program will continue evolving and you will be an integral part of its success..

Responsibilities :

Baking some grab and go items Prepping all sauces, garnishes, and jams Making sandwiches and made to order items Rotating inventory to minimize waste Regular cleaning of the cafe and bathrooms Regular cleaning of all kitchen equipment and utensils Working with and supporting your team to keep the cafe beautifully clean and welcoming Ensuring the ambiance among our team and customers is positive Continue learning and developing your kitchen knowledge and skills We're looking for people who: Have 2-4 years of kitchen experience Enjoy manual work Can work early shifts (6:00am) Are punctual Are fast learners Are organized and clean Have a positive attitude Have previous experience in the hospitality industry Bonus qualifications: Cafe or breakfast joint experience Baking experience Food Safety Certified Lost Sock Roasters provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
