Brooksville Bagels is looking for a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. We're a small, locally owned shop with a close-knit team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen focused on breakfast and lunch items. Our kitchen gets hot, and shifts start early, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable in that environment and ready to make the kitchen their primary work area.

Schedule:

Availability between 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM is required. Open weekend availability is a must, including Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities:

Daily food prep and kitchen setup Prepare and assemble breakfast and lunch item Keep the kitchen stocked, clean and organized Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with dishes, cleaning and end-of-shift prep Work efficiently with the team during busy service

What We're Looking For:

Reliable and punctual Comfortable with early mornings Open Saturday and Sunday availability Comfortable working in a hot, compact kitchen Able to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Restaurant or kitchen experience preferred ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain it

Pay:
