Dietary Aid

The Diaetary Aide will work alongside Chefs to help prepare food for residents and clients.

Responsibilities:

Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages following specific procedures Serving meals, ensuring food safety, and hygiene procedures are followed at all times Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and food items Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols, including state-specified rules and regulations Set up and break down dining areas, and assist with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning Assisting with educational programs on nutrition

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience with institutional food service preferred. Provide the most comprehensive support.

Necessary skills:

Patience and compassion when working with clients and team workers Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions for meal orders and nutritional guidelines to ensure clients receive appropriate food Physical stamina to assist in food preparation, serving meals, and cleaning up after meal s This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6 am - 2 pm.
