Job Summary Lucille's American Cafe is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Crew Members to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, guest service, order fulfillment, dining room maintenance, and daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, works well as part of a team, and is committed to delivering exceptional food and service. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service. Take customer orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company recipes and quality standards. Assemble takeout and dine-in orders while ensuring accuracy and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, kitchen, beverage station, and service areas. Restock food items, beverages, condiments, utensils, packaging materials, and restaurant supplies. Process cash, credit card, gift card, and mobile payment transactions accurately. Follow food safety, sanitation, allergy awareness, and workplace health and safety standards. Assist with opening, closing, inventory counts, and daily cleaning duties. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations. Respond promptly to guest requests and help resolve customer concerns professionally. Support promotional events and seasonal menu offerings as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a restaurant, café, fast casual, or customer service role is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service and teamwork abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems are an asset. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs . Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Skills Experience as a Restaurant Crew Member, Food Service Worker, Cashier, Server Assistant, or Kitchen Team Member. Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices. Food Handler Certification is an asset. Experience handling cash and electronic payment transactions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
