The Kitchen Fryer is responsible for preparing and cooking food items using frying techniques, ensuring high-quality standards and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This role requires a focus on food safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Duties Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare fried foods according to established recipes and standards. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked thoroughly and maintains quality. Prepare ingredients for frying, including portioning, breading, or seasoning as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the fryer area, including cleaning fryers, utensils, and work surfaces regularly to comply with health and safety regulations. Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of all food products. Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned, such as prep work or dishwashing when necessary. Manage inventory levels of frying supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing. Qualifications Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate commercial fryers and other kitchen equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.
