Full-Time Clock House Brewing is looking for a dependable and motivated Lead Cook to help lead the kitchen at our new location. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating consistent, quality food. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity while playing an important role in developing our new food program. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day kitchen operations during scheduled shifts. Prepare and execute menu items consistently and efficiently. Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and portioning. Help train and provide direction to kitchen staff. Complete and oversee daily food prep. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food-storage procedures. Monitor inventory and communicate product needs. Help minimize food waste. Ensure orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, management, and other kitchen staff. Assist management with maintaining and improving kitchen procedures. Help create a positive, dependable, team-oriented kitchen environment. What We're Looking For Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred; culinary students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Reliable and able to work independently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain consistency during busy shifts. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation. Willingness to help wherever needed. Available to work evenings and weekends as required. About Clock House Brewing Clock House Brewing is a locally owned brewery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We recently expanded into a larger production and taproom facility and, as part of that expansion, are launching a brand-new kitchen and food program. Our kitchen is designed around a streamlined, no-grease cooking environment with no fryers , with a menu focused on approachable, high-quality food that complements our beer and the overall taproom experience. This is an opportunity to join us at the beginning of something new. Our Lead Cook will play an important role in establishing day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining food quality and consistency, and helping us build a food program that becomes an important part of the Clock House experience. As Clock House continues to grow, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and is excited about helping build a new kitchen from the ground up.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
