Under the leadership of the Kitchen Manager for Helen's Bakery, the Kitchen Lead will support daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality standards are met, and help lead team members in providing an exceptional customer experience. Qualities We Look For Strong work ethic and positive attitude Highly organized and dependable Self-motivated Team-oriented leader Fun and friendly personality Customer-focused Fair, consistent, and professional Attention to detail and food quality Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Full benefits package Vacation and sick leave Advancement opportunities Supportive team environment Responsibilities and Requirements Lead daily kitchen operations for Krispy Krunchy Chicken and Godfather's Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and other menu items according to company standards Ensure all food products meet quality and presentation expectations Train, coach, and support kitchen team members Assist with food preparation, inventory management, and ordering Help manage food costs by minimizing waste and maintaining portion control Maintain sanitation, food safety, and health department standards Support scheduling and shift coverage as needed Lead by example in customer service and teamwork Assist in resolving operational and customer concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Work collaboratively with the Bakery General Manager and other team leaders Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous restaurant, kitchen, or quick-service food experience required Leadership or shift lead experience preferred Food safety and sanitation knowledge Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to train and motivate employees Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities Physical Requirements Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Ability to stand for an entire shift and walk for extended periods Push, bend, stoop, twist, lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds Reach with hands and arms frequently throughout the shift Use hands to grasp, handle, and operate kitchen equipment Ability to hear and respond to kitchen and customer service communications Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with varying temperatures Join our team and help deliver great food, great service, and a great experience for every guest!
