Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer transactions smoothly and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling duties including stocking supplies, managing food storage, and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed. Support the team with cashiering duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and managing cash registers during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service delivery in a fast food or quick service restaurant setting while managing time effectively. Skills Experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math applications, and cash handling accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food industry practices. Ability to manage time effectively in a high-energy setting while multitasking between serving customers, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness. Previous restaurant experience or retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
