The Product Quality Specialist (PQS) is responsible for preparing all food items according to standardized Uncle Remus recipes while maintaining the highest standards to produce appealing, appetizing products. The PQS is also responsible for ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio.
Hours:
25-38 hours per week Responsibilities Set up your station and prep ingredients following Uncle Remus standards. Finish-cook, sauce, wrap, and package orders quickly and accurately. Keep tickets moving — you're the last stop before the food hits the guest. Own the quality of every product you touch. Use knives and kitchen equipment safely and correctly. Flag equipment issues, product shortages, or food quality concerns to management. Follow portioning, recipes, and procedures every time. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow all safety, cleaning, and sanitizing procedures. Jump in on other tasks as needed. Prepares food according to the daily cooking chart. Requirements Illinois resident or willing to become one within 90 days of hire. Must obtain an Illinois food-handler certification within 30 days. U.S. citizenship / Work authorization required.
