Job Description

Join our team at the Blue Gate Restaurant to work on the kitchen line. In this fast-paced job, you will ensure that all plates are portioned properly, look professional, and leave the kitchen efficiently.
Other responsibilities include:
Making salads and sandwiches. Stocking and organizing the line. Cleaning and sanitizing the workstation. Preparing and cooking chicken. Operating fryers. Assisting with various kitchen tasks as assigned. You could be a good fit for this position if you are detail-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. We need someone to work full-time or part-time, up to five shifts per week, between 10:30 am and closing. The hours may vary. Saturdays are required! Open availability is preferred! We are closed on Sundays! The kitchen line worker will start at up to $17.00 per hour based on industry experience and availability. Experience is preferred, not required, and we provide paid training. Our kitchen staff is cross-trained, allowing each person to develop new skills and reach their full potential.
Kitchen Line Requirements:
Practice safe food handling. Ability to perform the job's physical demands, including working in high-heat conditions, standing on your feet for long periods, bending, moving, reaching, and stretching. Must be teachable with a desire to learn. Work efficiently and accurately. Must keep the workstation clean and organized. Must be at least 17 years old. Must be willing and available to work evenings, weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), and holidays.
