Full Job Description Description:
Our Cooks function as the heartbeat of the kitchen and food operations at our cafe locations. They are tasked with preparing and serving quality food with an emphasis on consistency. Cooks must maintain a working knowledge of the products we offer and what they will be tasked with preparing for and executing in the kitchen. Our Cooks will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchens they work in as well. Essential Job Functions Prepare food in a timely manner following all recipes and plating specifications- fulfill customer tickets within 8 minutes Maintains punctual attendance Keeps line and various stations stocked and organized properly throughout shift Completes assigned prep items for the day and completes prep sheet as needed Labels, dates, and stores all food items properly Completes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as outlined by checklist Communicates with baristas and the store leadership team regarding customer tickets or product issues Completes deep cleaning tasks as outlined in checklists Completes opening and closing checklist depending on shift Maintains and exhibits customer first attitude at all times when interacting with customers Maintains kitchen cleanliness•including line, prep area, dish pit, and storage areas Wash, dry, and put away all dishes Ability to complete produce order if needed Follows all proper food handling and kitchen safety guidelines•FIFO, shelf lives, time vs temp, proper storage hierarchy Inform management team of any maintenance issues in a timely manner Properly handle any guest issues or complaints as outlined in the training materials and by management team
