Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square POS and Clover to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from takeout to dine-in, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and equipment cleaning. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting smooth restaurant operations during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong skills in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing. Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor. Food industry experience including serving, cashiering, or food handling is advantageous.
