In this role, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, assisting in food preparation and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work collaboratively with fellow team members to create a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Utilize culinary tools and equipment, including knives and cooking appliances, with care and precision. Participate in meal preparation for daily service as well as catering events when needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in meal preparation. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
