Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes according to customer requests and specifications
• Create visually appealing designs using various techniques, such as piping, fondant, and edible decorations
• Ensure cakes are finished in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cake decorating area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing cakes
• Collaborate with other bakery staff to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selection and answering any questions they may have

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cake decorator or in a similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and artistic skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others
