Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Counter Person/Kitchen Help, where you'll be the friendly face greeting customers and the energetic support behind the scenes ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This dynamic role combines customer service excellence with essential food preparation and kitchen assistance, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently. Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, assisting in food prep tasks like chopping, assembling, and packaging. Manage food service customer orders with attention to detail, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace. Handle cash register operations accurately, processing cash and card payments while processing retail sales transactions smoothly. Requirements Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment safely. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without compromising quality or service. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales totals accurately. Some knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures. Previous café or restaurant experience will be considered a plus for success in this role.
