Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
The primary responsibility of the Bus Person is to maintain the employee dining room (EDR), including the storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage station according to established cleanliness and stock standards.Position:

Gold Strike CasinoMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- One (1) year of experience in a restaurant as a Bus or Food Runner.
- Experience working in a similar resort setting.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Familiarity with basic food handling and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and all business contacts.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift to 50 lbs., etc. for extended periods

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure proper guest service.
Sanitization:
Wiping down tables, chairs and booths with sanitizer to meet health standards.Restocking:
Replenishing condiments, cutlery, napkins and beverages at service stations.Floor Care:
Sweeping or mopping the dining area throughout the shift to remove debris.Support:
Assisting the kitchen staff, dishwashers and food servers during busy periods.Preparation:
Setting up the dining area, as well as the food stations. Such as Salad bar, Hot Line and varies food stations.Food Preparation:
Washing, peeling, chopping, slicing fruits, vegetables and meats. Preparing simple dishes and assembling ingredients for chefs.- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
