This role assists with guest service, order taking, food and beverage service, cleanliness, restocking, and teamwork across the restaurant. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests. Assist with preparing and serving American-style food and beverages. Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly. Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and courteously. Answer customer questions about menu items and restaurant offerings. Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments as needed. Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, tables, and service stations. Clear and reset tables while maintaining a neat and welcoming environment. Restock food items, beverages, utensils, napkins, packaging, and other supplies. Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Help maintain food quality, presentation, order accuracy, and service standards. Communicate customer concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties. Handle restaurant equipment, supplies, and customer property carefully. Work cooperatively with coworkers to maintain efficient daily operations. Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and food service standards. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
